Money Transmission and Cross Border Payments
Money Transmission
We have developed a solid framework to enable banks to develop
their strategies for their money transmission operations.
The review includes an assessment of the market and competitor
activity, reviews of outsourcing options, an analysis of customer
money transmission behaviour in branches and remotely, the
modelling of total money transmission revenues and costs and
an analysis of the revenue gap. Organisational options include
a review of the operation of money transmission as a business
unit or separate company. Studies often include new product
definitions (where appropriate) plus modelling and broad business
case development. Customers include several major banks and
inter-bank organisations.
Cross Border Payment and Euro
We have worked extensively within the banking sector helping
inter-bank organisations develop their strategies for both
low and high value cross border payments and for the introduction
of the euro. Our work has included market surveys, competitor
analysis, strategies for the euro (in or out), pricing, alliance
opportunities, modelling and business case analysis. Customers
include several UK banks and an international inter-bank payments
scheme.
Technology Implementation
We have conducted a number of major technology assignments
relating to money transmission. Implementation projects have
included managing the testing of a real-time gross settlement
system and the management of several software development
projects. Customers include Middle Eastern, European banks,
cards schemes and central banks.
